Extract high quality water from the AirA2WH system
produces pure potable water from air using
only solar energy. The A2WH system absorbs
moisture at night when humidity is
relatively high and converts what it absorbed the prior night into
liquid water the following day using solar thermal heat.
Over
90% of the energy used in the system is solar heat. All
condensing occurs at near ambient and does not require
refrigeration.
A2WH is Ideal for off grid use and where
electricity
is abnormally expensive.
A2WH is an ideal solution to provide high quality drinking water
when there is no other water source is
available.
By providing an independant supply of water A2WH can allow development of land where no water rights are available and where no additional water is available.
Civilian models of A2WH operate off of Solar and Solar Thermal
energy which means they will provide water for years with no additional
energy or fuel costs.
A2WH can deliver lower long term operational
costs than electric grid or fuel powered systems due to it's ability to
operate without any external power supply. This can save from 600
to
5,000 watt hours per gallon of water produced as compared to electric
refrigeration based units.
Smaller versions of A2WH such as the 23LPD can provide basic water for individuals and villages in poverty stricken areas.
